Angel Wings

For today's project I've decided to make a canvas using one of the Julie Nutting doll stamps.  I watched an online class last week and just loved the canvas that she made and was totally inspired.  Mine of course looks nothing like hers, but I made it my own.  lol

I love the Pinque Peacock covered buttons and the ones I used are my favorite.  I did ink them with Distress Ink, Tattered Rose, but I hated to do it because they're so pretty as is.

Most of the products that I used are from the Prima Romance Novel collection.  The bow is of course 3 Girl Jam crinkle ribbon, Sweet Cream.

I did have a lot of fun creating this, painting the canvas I had in my stash, tearing paper for the background, inking them all and then placing them on the canvas with Modge Podge.  I stamped the doll and wings on one of the tags that were made for these stamps and then dressing the doll up.  I used Cinnamon Stickles for the dots on the wings and on the 3 of the corners.

Here she is, my Angel Wings!

These are the beautiful Pinque Peacock fabric covered buttons that I inked.

And here is a close-up view of the bow using the 3 Girl Jam crinkle ribbon.  This Sweet Cream is so pretty!!

Thank you so much for coming by and checking out my latest creation!  Please become a follower if you are not already and I do love comments!!
