Layout Tuesday!

So today is Tuesday and I've made a layout using my favorite subject, Liam.  I don't do that many layouts these days, but I'm trying to scrap his pictures as I get them printed.  He's 8 months old now, so I'm already 8 months behind.  lol

I've been trying to use product I already have on hand for my all of my projects and so far it's working out.  For this layout I used all TLC paper and die cuts, Jolee's Boutique stickers and of course the fuzzy and fabric covered buttons are Pinque Peacock.

Here are a couple photos of the buttons close-up.  Love the fuzzy yellow ones!

This is the photo of the whole layout.

Thank you so much for stopping by and if you're not a follower already, please do!

Happy Memorial Day!

Happy Memorial Day

I'm behind as always, but it was my honor to be a guest designer/friend on one of the talented Pinquettes blot, Nupur.  She is celebrating her 1st Anniversary on her blog, so go and check it out. Each day she is having a guest designer and all the projects have been amazing and still more to come.  So go check out her blog at Down The Memory Lane and see for yourself.

Here is the Mixed Media Album I made, more pages to be posted soon!

This is a Prima album, but the crinkle ribbon is 3GirlJam and not sure where the key came from.  Sherry Mendoza was the instructor for the mixed media album and she is awesome.  She has since moved on from Prima, but I'm still working on finishing the album.

One Messy Scraproom!

I am posting pictures of my scraproom, but it's so not ready for 'visitors'.  My scraproom is a converted garage and usually an awesome place to play with all my goodies.  The past few years it's become a place to store all the stuff that's eventually going to go on a garage sale.  I'm afraid to show the whole room, lots of boxes and junk everywhere.

So here you go, my favorite place to hang!

These are my work tables/desk

More goodies and junk

Love this rolling cart with drawer for all sorts of goodies

Love my cabinets and there are even lights all the way across underneath and of course goody boxes on top.  Small paper pads, stamps, books inside.

Messy cabinet, but lots of ribbon.

This area is quite embarrassing, but now maybe I'll try to get it better organized!  There is a lot of garage sale junk all over and it makes it hard to get organized.

Can you say buttons!  I love buttons and all those jars are full of them.

Bulletin Board, some pictures on it.  I did paint the rag doll girl in the 80's with oil paint.

One of these days I will post better pictures, took these real quick and they're not very good and the lighting is horrible.  Hoping to have the room back to myself by the end of summer and no more junk all over.  There are a couple of cool corners that I was too ashamed to even take pictures of!!  LOL

Pink Tag Friday!

It's Friday and any day is a great day for pink!  Pink is my signature color and I know I'm not the only one out there.  For today's project I decided I wanted to make a tag.  I love tags and 'pin' so many on Pinterest, but have never made one, so decided it was time.

I love all of Pinque Peacocks items, but the ones that I'm using for my tag are my very favorites!  They have all of the elements of my favorite things - pink, flowers, buttons - enough said.

Here is a close-up of the flower and stick pin.  Gorgeous flower, I hated to use it!!  lol

Here is a close-up of the button and it's just as beautiful as the flower above! Just love the softness of flowers on the button and also that it's material.

Here is the whole tag and now I wish I hadn't put the polka dot paper behind it to take the photo, but thought it was cute at the time.  The lace is some lace that I picked up at a craft show last month and the ribbon for the bows I've had probably for years.  The white flower vine is Prima and have no idea where I got the bigger flowers, but have also had them for years.  The sparkles are Studio G glitter glue that I put on with a paint brush.  I cut the tag out myself using Paris Girl by Carta Bella (background is also the same paper pack).  lol  Around the edges of the tag I did use Tim Holtz distress ink Tattered Rose.

Have A Great Weekend!!
